I am a proud mom to 4 amazing young men and know that becoming a parent is an awesome privilege but also a challenge like no other. My passion? Moms. Oh how I love the babies but it brings me such joy to help moms feel empowered by equipping them with knowledge of how their bodies and their babies form an amazing life-giving team.

My name is Brittany and I am a Registered Nurse and proud IBCLC. Since 2015 I have been working in newborn and maternal health; I am currently practicing as a public health nurse. Breastfeeding has been my passion over the last four years while not only caring for my own daughter, but working in the community as a healthy beginnings nurse. I have been humbled learning how many families leave hospital/midwifery care and struggle with breastfeeding. By supporting these families in the community, I was inspired to further my knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care. In 2020 I gained accreditation as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, pinch me! My goal is to educate and advocate for breastfeeding families. I hope to create a space for parents to make informed and supported decisions on infant feeding.
